Written to my family in an email April of 2012 -
I hope that this note finds you well - I know I have loved the time change and more daylight and I love the warmth I feel in the air these days!
I wanted to share two articles for Easter. The attachments are sentimental as well as thought provoking! Grandma Thronebery mailed me the newspaper article sometime around 2001 and that same year
(I believe) the BC comic strip. Johnny Hart, the BC comic artist, always threw secular safety to the wind on Easter and he drew what he felt in his heart. (much to the criticism of his colleagues and the newspapers that published his comics.)
I feel blessed to have used both the BC comic strip and the newspaper article that grandma sent for discussion with the youth at my church for many years - enjoy!
